So in this online journal of mine,you can walk with me and become a traveler along with me as I share my experiences, stories,places of interest, tips, photos,hotels,restaurants and many more facts about a place. I think it is important to open your eyes and really see your surroundings, much as you do when you see a new city,town or country for the first time. So apart from writing about places I travel, I will be sharing information, my experiences,places to visit in Kuwait,in general life in Kuwait,shopping bargains, cultural events and happenings,sightseeing tours,restaurants,shops,shopping malls,theater and music evenings.....everything and anything on KUWAIT.

About Me :

Hi. I'm Parimita Barooah Bora, a onetime lecturer, currently I am a stay-at-home mom. Having done my post graduation in English,Education and Travel and Tourism, I taught for few years until my relocation to Kuwait. I like to share the experiences of my life as a freelance contributor to various newspapers, magazines and websites. My writings have been published in The Assam Tribune, The Sentinel, The Eclectic, The Telegraph, Outlook Traveller, The Hindustan Times, Posoowa, www.assamtimes.org, www.indiansinkuwait.com, www.glimpse.org, www.ndtvtravels.com and www.asiantribune.com

Though an Indian, I am base in Kuwait. It's here my little princess MEHR and my prince ESHAAN are born. Now they, duties as a wife, mother, freelance writer, teaching children in the evenings at home and as active executive member of IWIK( Indian women in Kuwait ) forum keeps me busy.

I belong to ASSAM,a beautiful north-eastern state of INDIA.Assam is known as the land of nature,the land of tea, one horn rhino and where the mighty Brahmaputra flows. For me no other place in the world is naturally so beautiful as my state Assam.

As a kid, dad used to take the family ( mom, bro and two sweet sis) to various tourist destinations. And luckily I have a husband who shares my love for travelling and exploring new places.

Apart from travelling and writing, I love to play my sitar, cook, collect ethnic jewelry, swim and click lot of pictures to capture my experiences and memories.
