Inspection team will strengthen the inspections during the National Day holidays to detect the use or sale of aerosol sprays.
Individual using aerosol spray foam will be fined KD 50, regardless of the age, local daily Al Qabas reported quoting Industrial Environment Manager and Director Mohammad Al-Enizi. Hawkers selling them also will be fined up to KD 250 while the penalty ranges between KD 300 and KD 500 for shops and markets, daily added.
The use of spray foams was made illegal by a Cabinet decision passed two years ago. It is also decided that the teams will also visit factories to ensure that the products are not being supplied to the local market.
Hope whatever is decided will transform into reality because kids using sprays cause havoc to drivers and to those who are out in the streets to enjoy the National and Liberation Day celebration.
